The foundational truths that guide our faith and practice as a church community
These core beliefs form the foundation of our faith and guide every aspect of our church life. They are rooted in Scripture and have been cherished by our community for generations.
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible and in one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary.

Jesus Christ Our Savior: We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
Salvation and New Birth: We believe in the new birth as described in John 3:3, 1 Peter 1:23, and 1 John 3:9. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
Sanctification and Holiness: We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Holiness is God's standard of living for His people. We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart, in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Baptism and Divine Healing: We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. We believe that divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
Communion and Fellowship: We believe in the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet as sacred ordinances that bind us together in Christian fellowship and remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.
Second Coming: We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
Eternal Life: We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

We believe in the exclusivity of marriage, conventional union of one man and one woman, which union was designed by God. Genesis 2:24 states, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."
Jesus Christ affirmed this in Matthew 19:4-6. We will faithfully follow this scriptural definition of marriage in the teachings and practices of this church, and therefore, this church will not officiate, solemnize, perform or host a marriage or marriage-like ceremony involving anything other than the union of one man with one woman as instituted by God.
We'd love to discuss these foundational truths with you and answer any questions you may have.
